Reality post war - yesterday it definitively broke my day…

First of, I need to explain - to my self nonetheless - that the reason for my absence is not lack of inspiration but rather too much perspiration. Yes, sweating my a** off at work and having only time for bed in between!
I have had moments where I have written posts and thought about sharing one thing or another but those moments haven’t gone pass the editing screen! Total failure!
The picture with this post is meant to justify that despite my desire to change the pattern next week it will be a busy London Design Week, I’m tired already!

Inspiration 18/08/2011
This girl at the bus stop on my way to work was the sweetest and most beautiful little thing I encounter this day. Colourful outside and in. Let your true colours… shine through! (and so many times I catch myself ‘having’ to hide mine)

my inspirations

I decided to document my daily inspirations here. Because some things, more than others, inspire me so much they deserve an homage. From things to strange people to best friends, there is always one thing that will make or break my day.

If the thing or person breaks my day I haven’t decided if I will similarly share it, so for now I’m using a good strategy I learnt from America’s G. Bush, in another words, fear me! *wink wink*

watch this space… (or not)

my sickometer

How do I know I am really sick?

When at work after a big, cramp inducing, sneeze in front of a table full of men in suit my first thought is “I want my mom”. It is only a second long thought that is followed by an automatic contraction of all muscles in my face in the urge of making a puppy face as a tear come out my eyes.

Reality strikes and… clear throat, sit up straight: pull yourself together woman!

There is no inherited meaning in any piece of information that we see, hear or touch. It’s the ‘associating’ brain work that gives the meaning to all that is around us.

Truly understanding that, and remembering it on a daily basis, is the biggest challenge.
